Hello everyone! This week's drop day will be this coming Friday [10/17].
Fall Napoli carrots are all tucked in under a white fabric to protect them from frost and keep them growing. Because of the microclimate caused by the white fabric they should size up rapidly and be available in a couple weeks!
The produce that is available for order this week is:
- Salad Greens
- Petite Swiss Chard
- Parsley
- Arugula
- Radish
- Salad turnips
- Onions- a mixture of two different varieties
- Pickled beets
- Stone Farm tomato sauce- sold by the 32 oz jar- very limited supply
- Sweet red peppers- a mixture of two different varieties- very limited supply if the frost doesn't get them
- Petite 'Toscano' kale
- Baby green cabbages
- Petite Laguna carrots
- Fall spinach
- Butternut winter squash
- Delicata winter squash
- Both squash varieties are sold by the squash- see the online store for more details
- Garlic Chives
- Regular Chives
Get ready for some gorgeous fall rain! Don't forget $100 may be added to your account by mailing additional check to Stone Farm. Money from additional deposits that is not used will be refunded should the member choose to cancel their membership. A minimum balance of $250 will be required on all members' accounts on March 15th of each year to maintain a Stone Farm CSA membership.
