Hello everyone! I decided to skip a drop off last week due to the holidays but we are back this week! This week's drop day will be this coming Friday [1/2].
Newly dug parsnips! SO. GOOD.
Since we are into winter (...urrghh), selection is limited although I am going to dig some PARSNIPS for sale this week (and probably next week)- they are like candy when peeled, cut into small long 'matchsticks', and then roasted in the oven.
The produce that is available for order this week is:
- Onions- a mixture of three different varieties
- Fall Napoli carrots- now sold by the 2 lb. bag while supplies last
- Butternut winter squash
- Sold by the squash- see the online store for more details
- PARSNIPS- sold by the 2 lb bag while supplies last
Don't forget $100 may be added to your account by mailing an additional check to Stone Farm. Money from additional deposits that is not used will be refunded should the member choose to cancel their membership. A minimum balance of $250 will be required on all members' accounts on March 15th of each year to maintain a Stone Farm CSA membership.
